Sunflower Ménage
It starts with a smear of plaster... A ménage of spray paint, Layers of acrylics poured over, And over again. Blending the old, with new. Delicate hands making messy work. Layer upon layer, figures begin to take form. Life seeds and takes its shape; driven towards growth by Inertia and instincts. The future may be unpredictable but it is certain we will remain steadfast against darkness encroach. Shine bright now for the warmth of your glow will radiate beyond our mortal decay. Be the sun, bloom and flower. You together now, find your peace and power. ~~~ Presenting, 'Sunflower Menage' (36x36") A commissioned, mixed media piece (and poem) for Wayne and Nora on their 3 year anniversary.
